HIRONIC Co., Ltd. (CEO: Jin-Woo Lee), a global manufacturer of aesthetic medical devices, announced that Dr. Kibum Kim, Executive Director of the Society, delivered a lecture on HIRONIC’s V-RO Lifting at the 51st Fall Scientific Meeting of the Korean Society for Laser, Dermatology and Trichology (KSLDT), held on December 14 at the Grand InterContinental Parnas Seoul.

The conference attracted approximately 4,500 medical professionals, making it one of the largest academic gatherings in Korea dedicated to laser- and energy-based dermatologic treatments. The Korean Society for Laser, Dermatology and Trichology hosts regular academic conferences each year to facilitate scientific exchange among dermatologists and related medical specialists.

During the lecture, Dr. Kim introduced current trends in aesthetic lifting procedures, with a particular focus on the multi-layer targeting approach, which considers the skin’s structural layers in a comprehensive and stratified manner.

Also presented during the session, V-RO Lifting is HIRONIC’s next-generation lifting device, designed to deliver high-intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU) and radiofrequency (RF) simultaneously within a single system. This integrated design supports a lifting approach that addresses both deep and superficial skin layers, aligning with the growing trend toward multi-layer targeted lifting techniques in aesthetic medicine.
