Hironic (CEO Jin-Woo Lee, www.hironic.com), a leading innovator of medical aesthetic laser and energy devices, announced today the launch of ‘JUVINA’ filler in order to penetrate the global facial aesthetics market. As an industry leader in medical aesthetics with a strong global network and customer base, Hironic now plans to expand its filler business through a strategic partnership with Pronexx.

Hironic’s business strategy is to rapidly gain the filler market share by utilizing its vast network of global distributors which already sell Hironic’s lineup of medical aesthetic devices. With Hironic’s recognition among skin and plastic surgery clinics worldwide, JUVINA is expected to contribute highly to Hironic’s short-term revenue growth this year.

JUVINA provides lift to the cheeks and volume to correct and smooth smile lines. JUVINA is safe to use because it is made up of Hyaluronic Acid (HA), a natural substance found in the human body. When injected, Hyaluronic Acid enhances the skin’s elasticity and ability to retain moisture. JUVINA is injected deep into the dermis, and patients can immediately feel the difference with a more youthful-looking experience. With Hironic’s proprietary filler technology, the results are natural and long lasting. For optimal treatment of each skin area, JUVINA collection of fillers comes in 6 different variations - 3 levels of intensity (Soft, Balance and Intense), with and without Lidocaine.

Hironic plans to launch JUVINA at the end of June and will focus on overseas market development in the early stages. According to industry sources, the global facial aesthetics market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11.6% until 2020. The dermal filler market is expected to grow 13% annually and reach $2.7 billion by 2020. Furthermore, the Chinese market is expected to grow even more explosively at a CAGR of 30%, from $ 8.4 million in 2014 to $230 million by 2018.

“We, at Hironic, are excited to finally launch JUVINA filler which we have planned for several years. Hironic will continue to provide innovative products and services to our valued customers,” said CEO Jin-Woo Lee.
